Description: This file contains two program shells, one with lots of whitespace, a main comment block at the top, and a comment for every procedure, the other with minimal whitespace and a single comment block at the top.

Both of these shells make use of our all purpose library accsl001 so grab a copy of that as well.

ACCS Table Dumper

  
Description: This program will take a PeopleSoft table and extract the data to either a CSV file or to a series of insert statements.

Note: This file requires the accsl001.sqc and the accsl004.sqc. The original download included these files but they were out of date.

Description: A client of mine asked for a way to determine how many objects in the database (PeopleSoft) have been modified, so I designed this little SQR to locate all of the PeopleTools tables that have the field LASTUPDOPRID and then count the number of objects that do not have the OPRID of PPLSOFT or PS.

This will give you a rough indication of how customized your database is with an over all number and a table by table break down.

This program requires the accsl001.sqc

Description: This library contains a set of function to allow for quick and consistent access to fixed length and CSV files. The procedures handle all of the building (for writing) and parsing (for reading) of the data to and from a flat file.

Only character and numeric fields are handled, date field are usually handled in a character field, but if you are so inclined, you can handle them with numeric fields.

Note: This library also uses the accsl001 library so you will need to download that as well.
